This fine 1960 Chevrolet stepside pickup is owned by William (Bill) Billard Sr. of Billard Trucking Ltd. located on Broodfield Road in St. John's, Newfoundland. Bill purchased this truck eight years ago from a party in Portugal Cove, the truck has been Newfoundland owned and driven since new. Early 60's Chevy pickups are really quite rare and especially in the condition Bill's is in. It has the 230 cubic inch in-line six cylinder engine, standard transmission and the optional power steering. This truck has been painted the company colors of bright yellow with black fenders. Billard trucking has been in operation since 1932 having been started by Bill Seniors Grandfather, James Billard - his son Norman came in the business and then Bill Sr. took over the firm from his brother Norman. Today William (Bill Jr.) runs the company on a day to day basis with assistance from his dad.
