This
1977 Pontiac Trans Am is a gorgeous car. It
is the exact take off of the "Bandit" driven by Burt Reynolds in the
ever so famous movie "Smoky and the Bandit".
This car is not only a head turner because of its sister's of a movie fame but
because of its outstanding condition. With only 43,000 original miles on the odometer
the car is still tight and quiet with nice fitting doors, trunk, and etc.
The
car is powered by the 6.6 liter (400 cubic inch) Pontiac engine with the Ram air
3 set up and the under hood is very nicely detailed which is part of the reason
the Pony is a trophy winner.
This American muscle car is owned by Chester and Elaine Urquhart of Truro, Nova
Scotia. Chester purchased this car in 1998 off of, believe it or not, a local
car lot!
Some
options on the car include glass t-top roof panels, tilt steering, and manual
four speed transmission. The car was appraised by Burt Fulmore of Economy, Nova
Scotia, who praised the car for its quality.
The "Bandit" is one of five collectible vehicles that the Urquharts
have insured with us through our "Silver Wheel" and "Custom Wheel"
Insurance Plans.
