1930 Five Window Sport Coupe owned by Walter and Shirley LaCour of Holyrood, Newfoundland.

This car was rescued from a rock pile in the Newcastle, New Brunswick area for two hundred dollars in 1971. The frameoff restoration was performed by Gary Mayes of Sussex, NB.

The car was purchased by Robert Murphy in 1982 who brought it to Newfoundland.

The car was again sold to a Rick Hibbs, then once again to a Les Noseworthy. It was from Mr. Noseworthy that Walter and Shirly purchased the car in 1999.

The car has a rumble seat, as well as the dual side mounted spare tire on the fenders - a rare option. It also sports the faclong type trunk rack and radiator stone shield.

The LaCour's enjoy driving the "A" to cruises, displaying it in car shows and without fail every Thursday night at A & W in Saint John's

Walter expressed his satisfaction with the excellent insurance coverage provided by the "Silver Wheel" program as well as the cost of insuring the prize Model A.
